Policies
Before calling or booking your appointment, please note:
We are not a spa and cannot accommodate more than one person. We are a small skin care studio, providing professional skin care treatments located at 580 Grand Avenue, Suite 213.  If you are looking to indulge in an ultimate spa service with fluffy robes, steam and sauna, you may want to consider calling a spa.  I do not provide hair color or cutting services or manicures and pedicures, but do provide a list of salons that I recommend in the bay area.

We do not have a receptionist!
This means that if we are booked with back to back appointments, it can be very hard to reach us by phone!  We encourage you to use the online booking system to book appointments.  Otherwise, please leave us a detailed message and we will do our very best to get back to you in between clients or at the end of our business day. 


Product Purchases:
For a full refund, products must be returned within 15 days.  Anything less than 3/4's full will not qualify for a refund.


Prior to your appointment
Please advise of any medical conditions or disabilities at this time for special accommodations.   You are required to complete the Service Consent form located here on the website.  This will inform me of any products and services that should be avoided during your treatment. 

For Handicapped:
The building is handicap accessible, however, we are located on the 2nd floor without elevators.  Please plan accordingly for those who have disabilities. 

Cancellations:
For a full refund, cancellations are required 24 hours prior to appointment.  Advance notice will allow other clients to fill your appointment time.  50% of the service will be charged to you without advance notice.  Please call to cancel your appointment or cancel through the online booking system.  Do not contact us by email to cancel your appointment!!

No Shows:
Not showing up for your appointment is rude!  Do you like to be stood up?  A charge of 100% of the service will be billed to your credit card if you no-show.

Late for your appointment?
Traffic can be unpredictable and unfortunate circumstances can cause you to be late.  Please give a courtesy call if you are running late so I can adjust clients that are booked after you.   If you do not call, I may not be able to accommodate or will need to shorten the time of your service.   Making a simple phone call is not only courteous to me, but to the clients who are booked after you!  Please note that if you are late, you will be charged for the services that were booked, even if the time was reduced.

Please read your appointment time and make sure you complete the entire booking process!
Keeping your daily calendar straight can be a difficult task and I can totally relate.  Please check the time of your appointment!  Many people have shown up on the wrong day.  I understand (I’ve done this before) but I do not have a receptionist.  When this happens, it disrupts other’s services so please check your date and time and make sure you are showing up at the time you actually booked for. 

Also, I’ve had people show up thinking that they have actually booked the appointment but, in fact, did not complete the entire booking process.  Please complete all of the steps.  You’ll know you’ve done this because you will receive an email confirmation of your appointment with directions and information about your service.

Children & Guests:
Out of respect for privacy and liability purposes, children and guests are not allowed during your visit.

Cash or Check preferred.
Visa and Mastercard is accepted.

By Appointment Only!

11 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday

11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday

11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday

11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday

11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday

12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday

Walk-ins are not accepted. 


Parking:
Free 2 hour parking can be found on Macarthur Ave. (the one way street that meets Grand Ave.)

Free 4 hour parking is located in the lot where Macarthur and Lakeshore meets.  Entrance is on Lakeside Dr. across from the Grand Lake Theatre.

Free 1 hour parking is available at the library parking lot.

Metered parking is in the front. 

You may also find free parking on Euclid Avenue, but it’s usually slim pickings!

Evening and weekend appointments beware!

Parking is generally difficult after 5 p.m. and on weekends due to the Grand Lake Farmer's Market so plan ahead!  While we try our best to accommodate late arrivals due to bad traffic and lack of parking karma, our busy schedules outside of our work doesn’t always allow for us to adjust times or stay late.  Please consider your commute and parking when scheduling evening appointments with us and plan ahead.  Give us a courtesy call if you do run into trouble.
